Tandem cylinders have two pistons that work in two different chambers but are connected by a common piston rod.

Air is supplied to both chambers simultaneously. Therefore, tandem air cylinders can achieve twice the drawbar pull compared to single chamber cylinder.

Almost all components of these cylinders are made of high-strength, lightweight aluminum alloy, except for the pistons and piston rod, which are made of alloy steel.

These cylinders are ideal for machines where hydraulic systems are not available.
