ZF Steering Gear (India) Limited (ZF INDIA) was incorporated in the year 1981 as a Joint Venture with ZF Friedrichshafen AG.
ZF INDIA is a leader in manufacturing and supplying Worm and Roller Mechanical Steering Systems and Integral Ball and Nut Hydraulic Power in India. Its plant is located in village Vadu Budruk, taluka-Shirur, 28 km from Pune on the Pune-Ahmednagar highway in the western part of India. Pune is a major automotive hub with OEMs like Force Motors, General Motors, Mercedes Benz, Mahindra Trucks & Bus Ltd., Tata Motors etc. 75,000 units of integral ball and nut hydraulic assisted steering gears.
ZF India has state-of-the-art technology in designing and manufacturing various types of Power Steering Systems and Mechanical Steering Systems based on the requirements of the customers. To meet the growing demands of the automotive market, it is continuously in the process of expanding its product base and seeks to diversify into suitable product lines.
ZF INDIA has an established Business Management System with the certification of QMS through ISO: TS: 16949: 2009 and ISO: 14001. It has built a service and spare parts network of around 60 distributors evenly distributed across India, Nepal, Middle East, South. Africa and Bangladesh to meet all the needs of our customers.
ZF India has an infrastructure in place to carry out various aspects of manufacturing operations as per the business process defined by ISO: TS: 16949:2009. It has adopted Lean Manufacturing System and has a workforce of around 1,000 employees.
