Shri Vasant Phadtare after completing his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. The passion of this field inspired them to start their own business in this field and they named their company Kavitsu, meaning Kalpana (wife), Vikrant (son) and Kaustubh (son), which was established in 1992. it was done. He started the company as Kavitsu was the technique and a proprietary type. Later in the year 2000 the company became Kavitsu Transmission Private Limited.
In 1995, the company developed a new idea for a gearbox and produced its first product, a planetary speed reducer. As time passed, they came up with many new and innovative ideas and now they have a huge client base across India.
