Principle of operation
LEKTROMIK K2 is a module for the soft start of single-phase capacitor motors also with separate start capacitor. Good soft start performance with a useful reduction of starting current can be achieved.
LEKTROMIK K1 is a snatch-free soft start module with phase-control in one of the phases. The other two motor phases are connected directly to the supply terminals. The voltage in the controlled phase is increased to full voltage during ramp up. The starting torque is limited and the mechanical stress on the transmission components drastically reduced.
LEKTROMIK KK1 and KIMODUL DMA are soft start modules for three-phase induction motors and make use of phase-control in two phases. One motor phase is connected directly to the supply terminals. The voltage in the two controlled phases increases gradually to full voltage during ramp up. The starting torque can be controlled very finely and a good soft-start characteristic can be achieved.
LEKTROMIK KK1 is especially suited for starting zsmall fractional h.p. motors.
