Nitriding gives a hard surface which is very resistant to wear and erosion. Nitrided surface reduces the friction coefficient, good lubricant-retention characteristics, is responsible for the major benefit of high resistance to wear, scuffing, galling and seizure. So that wears out conditions are minimized.

Nitriding and Oxidation Surface increase the excellent corrosion resistance.
