Product Description:

In construction and features, Narrow Belts are similar to Wedge Belts, the only difference being the additional top flange on Narrow Belts. These belts are manufactured to the RMA-IP 22 specification and are also known as American V-belts. Narrow and V-Belt Interchangeability Acceptable compromise and interchangeability is between 3V and SPZ sections, as well as between 5V and SPB sections. It is possible to use 3V and 5V section belts for SPZ and SPB section sheaves respectively, but this is not recommended due to the smaller top width of the RMA standard sheaves. However, Section 8V is larger than SPC. The SPC profile can be used in some cases in the slots for the 8V profile, with loss of power, but otherwise is not recommended.
