Product Description:

As components connecting the engine with the body, hydromounts have to fulfill a number of different tasks. They have to firmly fix the engine in position, absorb drive and braking torque, isolate and dampen engine vibration (damping-effect-generating hydraulics). Hydromounts make possible amplitude-/frequency-selective damping. Hydro bushings have the same job to do as hydromounts, namely that of isolating and damping vehicle vibration. Hydro bushings have an especially compact design. The parts are so cleverly designed geometrically that one component can assume functions divided up among a number of different components in the hydromount.
