Under the leadership of young and dynamic Shri. Sandeep Malhotra, General Manager, Malhotra Batteries has built its reputation in the domestic market. Malhotra Batteries produces lead-acid batteries and has a range to suit segments ranging from bicycles, cars, inverters to trucks.
In 1965 Shri. Kailash Kumar Malhotra founded Batteries International in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India to sell batteries. But he was able to see the opportunity for great growth in battery manufacturing, and then he began manufacturing hard rubber batteries. He started business with Any Car brand. He managed to see success in this segment for a decade. Mr. Sandeep Malhotra joined his ancestral business and also contributed to the business. Under his leadership the business reached new heights.
After successfully producing any automobile battery for years, Malhotra Batteries started producing thermal insulated lead-acid batteries under the Malta brand at its plant in Sola, a semi-urban area of Ahmedabad at that time. The plant processes all the products under one roof and consists of containers and separators.
